Siuslaw Elementary School
Beginning Oil classes for 12x16" boards: Subject - Green Umpqua Valley.
June 2008 --- Schools Out!
The painting project for the Siuslaw Elementary School has been concluded. Three hundred students painted 2 paintings each to take home for the Summer. Thanks again to the Western Lane Community Foundation for the grant to make this project possible.
We look forward to teaching more oil painting classes to the Siuslaw school students in the Fall 2008. See cost analysis for oil painting classes. There is a need for Sponsors.

Mennonite School, Lebanon, OR
April 14, 2008 Monday at 1 to 3:30 pm. Subject: Silver Falls Park. A special project for a special school was completed.
Helping Hands is happy to present oil painting to the students at the Mennonite School in Lebanon. It is always a pleasure to introduce new students to the joys of expression in oils.
Lincoln City, OR
Helping Hands is proud to present our first Oil Painting Classes at the Cultural Center in Lincoln City. All day seminar with everything provided. Step by step given. Subject: Silver Falls State Park. Starts at 10 am through the afternoon. Bring a lunch.
The all day seminar on June 19, 2008, Thursday Plein Air Festival, was successfully completed. Students painted on 18x24 inch paint boards, which were framed in class.
July 26, 2008 ~ Saturday 1 pm to 3:30 pm. We will be painting on a 12x16 paint board.

Stellar Academy ~ Summar School Oil Painting Classes
July 17 & 18, 2008 ~ Oil Painting Class
We are looking forward to teaching more students and adults oil painting. The two classes will be held on July 17th and 18th at the Stellar Academy in Fremont, California. Approximately 42 students will participate. Painting subject for students is Rainbow Lake, and for adults, Hidden Valley Falls.
