About Helping Hands for the Arts, Inc.

Helping Hands for the Arts, Inc. is a registered not-for-profit corporation dedicated to bringing art education to children and adults. Currently we offer oil painting for beginning children and adults. Private lessons and public events can also be scheduled.

Art Programs & Schools

Coming This Spring! Siuslaw Elementary School will be having oil painting lessons for grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th for the months of April and May.

Local Classes

Students focused on painting during a class in Veneta at the Applegate Gallery.

Local classes are scheduled at various venues. Currently, classes are held in Florence and Veneta, Oregon. Saturday sessions at the Applegate Gallery in Veneta run from 11am to 4 pm with a lunch break. Each student paints their own version of the subject demonstrated by instructor Weldon Oliver.
